Having never own a folding bike, I didn't really know what to expect. The Downtube 8s is not the lightest folding bike and it's not the most compact folding bike. But it is a light weight front suspension folding bike that rides like a dream. It's not the bike you buy to save room or carry up and down stairs in NYC. It's a great riding bike that is compact enough to bring anywhere to the great outdoors and not sacrifice performance. I did change the saddle because I like riding it like a cruiser which you could easily adjust the handlebars to a high up position. The saddle that comes with it is a sports saddle. It's a nice sports saddle but not good to ride the way I ride up high.
