Two weeks ago a car turned at a high rate of speed at an intersection right into me ( while I was riding ). There was no way to avoid the impact, so I waited until the last moment and I threw the bike into the car, jumping off the bike before impact.

I was fine because I did not get hit, the bike was fine too. The front tire bounced off the car bumper with no damage,  because there was no rider on the bike.

Always consder throwing the bike at the car, while jumping off. It works!
