I wanted to have a shout out to Sheldon Brown, the developer of sheldonbrown.com He started his site around the same time I began work on Downtube, so we knew each other at the beginning of the internet. Clearly he has done much better than me....he has the best cycling site on the internet. Please go to sheldonbrown.com if you haven't visited. I was recently reading about his family, and I just started crying. His marriage was wonderful, his kids are awesome, and they all got along. My family is in bad shape right now, so his writings were especially touching. I was lucky enough to communicate with him in the early 90's, and we met at the Interbike show. I hope he liked me....I really love him, and all he did for everyone.
