Car Rack for folding bikes

I have used a wide variety of car racks for folding bikes. All have worked perfectly. I like all car racks, except rear car mounted. They vibrate and don't feel stable nor safe. Car racks that work are:

1. Rear tire racks ( such as on Jeeps ). Saris made a BAT rack and other manufacturers make similar cheaper versions. Keep the rack loose on the rear tire, or else it will comprimise the tire. I blew out a spare on the first use because my rack was too tight.

2. Hitch mounted racks: They keep the bikes off the car and normally provide a stable support. Thule is the leading brand. Make sure folds up so it doesn't get in the way of your trunk.

3. Roof racks: There are multiple styles. Saris changed the market 10 years ago using a no drilling rack. Currently, Thule and Yakima are the leading brands, but these require drilling. I prefer racks that do not require drilling, to swap from one car to another.
