Grips for comfort on a commuting/folding bike

There are essentially two classes of grips for commuting bikes. One is foam and the other is rubber. Let's examine both.

My favorite foam grip is the Ritchey WCS, it is super comfortable in all environments, except rain. Foam grips change shape in moist conditions, hence losing integrity. I highly recommend foam grips for cycling.

A popular rubber grip is the OURY, it has been around forever. They started as a dirt bike company. These grips are rough, tough, and will provide minimal protection for your hands. I think they are ok in super moist climates, but otherwise stay away from rubber style grips.
