Summer fun for kids

This year I moved to La Grande, OR. A super friendly kids town. My kids have been having a blast with lots of activities. I wanted to share some of the best with everyone out there.

1. Cycling around town ( of course ). In small towns kids can freely travel without parents, bigger cities are different.

2. Hiking up cleared trails ( also try clearing trails for others, it's fun and rewarding )

3. Frisbee Golf, kids love this. Many cities and Universities have free facilities.

4. Pool- what kids don't love pools?

5. Climbing- it's tough but it will make your kids strong! Eastern Oregon University has an amazing indoor climbing wall. However everyone prefers outdoor climbing.

6. Clay - My kids just starting working with clay, it's a blast! Most universities have clay in the art department. Ask around maybe your kids can use the facilities for free.

7. Rafting ( we are taking our first trip this week ).  Wildwater in NC is great.

8. Pool, Fooseball, cards are great to mix things up.
