The Ultegra FD-6600 front derailleur provides dramatically improved shifting performance thanks to it new Wide Link design. It takes advantage of the FC-6600 crankset's increased rigidity and the more precise alignment it creates between the chainrings and the front derailleur. The derailleur's extra-rigid design provides quicker front shifts under all conditions, and its reinforced pivot arm acts with greater authority under all conditions.
Available for use with the following style seat tubes: Braze-on, 28.6mm clamp, 31.8mm clamp, and 34.9mm clamp. Please note that Shimano does not manufacture a 28.6mm-specific front derailleur. Rather, they supply a 28.6mm shim designed to work with the 31.8mm clamp.
