2005 Fox Float RLC 130 mm Fork

Float 130 RLC - When the Float fork was introduced a few years back, it quickly became the performance standard by which other air forks were judged.

Heck, the lockout threshold and low-speed compression adjustments found on our RLC model were acting as stable pedaling platforms before anyone else had even started calling them that. Now, for 2005, we've upped the travel to 130mm, reworked the low speed compression tuning range, further reduced friction for an even more coil-like feel, and refined our damping characteristics across the board. Our industry leading, precise steering, stiffness to weight ratio remains, and the Float now bears the distinction of being the lightest 5-inch travel fork on the market.

The ultra low-stiction air spring system works in unison with the Float's damping circuits to provide the perfect balance between efficiency, control, and position-sensitive bottoming resistance. 12-click rebound adjuster lets you dial in the damping control. The RLC model adds a lockout on the top of the fork leg, with adjustable blow-off threshold to change the compression firmness while in lockout mode. There's also a 9-position, externally adjustable low speed compression damping clicker, making these the most tunable forks around. 2005 Float's feature a new, slim damper cartridge that helps eliminate cavitation and allows a wider adjustment range. The new cartridge saves 30 grams over '04 forks.

1 1/8" threadless steerer tube (fits most modern mountain bikes) and 51mm International Standard disc brake mount. The Float line includes a Fox shock pump that allows you to set the air spring preload.
